1912:  First Rink built by Thomas Crawford

1921:  Roof Collapses under the weight of heavy snow
1948:  $91,000 raised to build a new arena

1949:  New arena opens
1961:  New addition of a heated room added

1965:  January 24 Honeywood arena burns to the ground
1965:  Fundraising and Construction begins, new arena opens by Christmas

1969:  Bert Wilson is Honeywood’s first NHL player
1996:   Aaron Downey NHL player

2008:   Aaron Downey wins the cup for Detroit Red Wings and brings the cup home to Honeywood

2024:  Arena requires critical repairs to continue

2025:  Ice Surface, Lobby, Accessible Washroom, Norduff Room Ceiling
